Agroforestry · Livestock · Productive restoration

Macaúba agroforestry systems designed for each landscape.

Macaúba can integrate trees, crops and livestock in a single production strategy. S.Oleum combines genetics, system design, implementation, management and monitoring to turn that potential into a technically coherent project.

Agroforestry · Livestock · Productive restoration

There is no single agroforestry model.

Macaúba arrangements may be intercropped, silvopastoral or agrosilvopastoral. Spacing, associated species, mechanization, access and schedules must respond to soil, climate, existing operations and target markets.

Design begins with the landowner’s objective and site suitability. Production, soil cover, animal movement, inter-row management, harvest and traceability are treated as parts of the same system.

  • Integration of macaúba, pasture, annual crops and tree species.
  • Planning for degraded or low-productivity land.
  • Implementation, nutrition, management and mechanization protocols.
  • Production, soil, biodiversity and carbon monitoring as required by scope.

How we work

01

Landscape assessment

Soil, terrain, water, current use, infrastructure and operational constraints.

02

Production design

Arrangements, spacing, associated species, access and implementation phases.

03

Coordinated implementation

Site preparation, planting, protection, inter-row management and integration with existing operations.

04

Adaptive management

Field indicators guide adjustments as the system develops.

Where the solution creates value

Livestock

Silvopastoral systems combining a tree component and animal production.

Agriculture

Annual or perennial intercrops selected for project phase, mechanization and market.

Industrial value chains

Planned renewable supply with provenance, protocols and traceability.

Frequently asked questions

Better decisions begin with the right questions.

Can macaúba be planted in pastures?

Silvopastoral systems are one option. Feasibility depends on climate, soil, design, livestock management, operations and economic objectives.

What spacing should be used?

There is no universal spacing. It varies with production system, associated species, mechanization, light access, management and harvest strategy.

Does agroforestry automatically generate carbon credits?

No. Carbon projects require a baseline, methodology, additionality, monitoring, verification and specific rules. The production system should be sound before any credit claim.
