One fruit, several value platforms.

The pulp and kernel yield oils with different compositions. Processing also produces press cakes, endocarp and other fractions that can be investigated for ingredients, energy, materials and agronomic uses.

Each application requires its own raw-material, processing, stability, safety and regulatory specifications. Industrial development therefore begins with the intended use and reaches back to genetics, management, harvest and post-harvest.

  • Pulp oil with a predominantly oleic profile.
  • Kernel oil with a lauric profile.
  • Biomass, meals and other fractions for applied research.
  • Traceability and specifications connected to the agricultural system.

Frequently asked questions

Better decisions begin with the right questions.

Which oils does macaúba produce?

The fruit contains oil in its pulp and kernel. These fractions have different compositions and may serve distinct applications.

Does S.Oleum currently sell oil?

Availability, specification, volume and schedule depend on the application and project. The first conversation qualifies demand and identifies a development or supply path.

Does every co-product already have a commercial application?

No. Some pathways are established while others require technical, economic and regulatory research and validation. The site distinguishes potential from commercial availability.
